A force for good:

kissing the world beautiful

photography as a powerful tool for change

let’s kiss our world beautiful together

in every way we can

Beauty is a force for good

So Photo-coco is all about beauty in the world and ourselves, ah? About opening up and appreciating what’s right in front of us. About connecting and taking uplifting pictures by heart and soul.

That’s all very well, but what about life beyond the shuttering comfort of abundance, beauty and the camera shutter? What about people that are pretty much stuck where they are without having much of a say in where they’re going? Not everybody has the choice or chance to enjoy a carefree life.

Well, at least there’s no harm in appreciating life any way we can or in taking beautiful pictures for the sheer joy of it, is there? Paying attention to beauty has a healing effect. It lifts your soul and softens your heart and deepens your joy. It’s a perfect anti-dote to feelings of stress, disconnection and negativity. In that sense it makes you a better person. Capturing and spreading beauty ads to that and makes photography a force for good. And for me there’s more to it.

Photography as a powerful tool for change

Photography has so much more potential for being a direct force for good. By telling an important story without words. By showing a situation where change is desparately needed to the outside world. By connecting worldwide in a language that everyone everywhere understands: visual language.

I’m interested in contributing to projects worldwide that are a force for good in itself. I’m especially interested in projects where the work concentrates on providing “a sense of belonging” for women and kids. My contribution is to work and play with the people involved in such projects to enhance their sense of belonging through beauty and photography. And/or to enable the project to create pictures inside out that help to get the story out into the world and to attract ambassadors for the project.

Please take a minute

In what way can you help me to kiss our world beautiful? What projects and forces for good come into your mind? Are you part of a force that could be strenghtened by a Photo-coco contribution? Do you know people that are involved in such projects? Would you help me to get attention for Photo-coco initiatives to kiss our world beautiful together? I would love to hear from you! info@photo-coco.com

Each for profit program, live or online, is tied to a non-profit initiative. So when you invest in yourself through a Photo-coco program, you’re also supporting Photo-coco initatives for fellow Curious Souls in a less fortunate position.

Example: for every paying participant of the online program Now here a refugee is invited to participate. I’m so excited about this, since what the program offers is totally related to – and helpful for – what both expats and refugees experience living abroad.
